Most American cities are not, "broke, dirty, unsafe, and run by either corrupt incumbents, neo-Marxists, or both. "

The US certainly has a border and one that is enforced, both by this administration and the prior one. Once the opinion starts with a bunch of incorrect background information, it's it hard to take seriously any conclusions.

New York and Los Angeles really aren’t that dangerous at all, especially given how large they are. They aren’t that dirty either.
None of them are broke.

A1C Mike Allen - Those cities are not particularly dirty or dangerous. Certain parts of them are, but for the most part no. I've been in all three and used to visit the city frequently. You know how many times I had a problem? Zero.

You want dirty, pay attention to the side of your average highway. I lived in the country for years and almost every day I'd have to police the trash on the road in front of my house.

A1C Mike Allen - Crime happens in any city more that it does rural areas, full stop. Its not a Republican thing, it's not a Democrat thing, it's just normal for whenever people are congregated, for all of human history. The bigger the city, the higher we can expect the crime rate to be compared to the country in the same culture. I don't know if you are too young to remember when NYC was actually crime ridden, but it's comparatively like Disney World now.

As far as filth, I find it wherever I go and I don't see NYC being any more filthy than the country given their population density. We are a filthy people. I suggest the next time you drive down the interstate you take a look out your window and pay attention to the side of the road. I've never seen a sidewalk in the city look anything like the mess there.

Violent crime and property crime rates in New York City are lower than the national average.
Interestingly enough, Gatlinburg, TN has crime rates that are twice the national average.

Also, being in debt isn’t the same as being broke.
