Texas has it's own grid. Being added to a "national" power grid isn't going to help anything. We already saw what happens when modern green energy is being prioritized over reliable energy sources. There is only one way to ensure a stable energy source until there is a reliable, green energy source like fusion and that is nuclear.

Anyone that relies totally on solar panels or wind energy, without being connected by the power grid is risking their lives. Particularly if you have extreme weather conditions.

Of course you are right sir. I will add that at some point the introduction of too high a percentage of intermittent energy (solar and wind) into the electric grid will put people’s lives at risk also.

Is Green energy going to be able to charge up all of the electric cars in the future? Time will tell.

Yes it will. A warning just went out not to store/charge electric cars in garages because of fire.
