But there’s another reason Pelosi and her colleagues, law enforcement, and the press are pushing the insurrection narrative—to cover up the one obvious crime committed that day in the Capitol building, a murder.

See it in context: On May 4, 1970, Ohio National Guardsmen shot to death four Kent State University students protesting the Vietnam War. Events earlier that week set the stage for violent confrontation. The radicals who dominated the protest movement were not angels. They threw beer bottles at policemen. The campus ROTC was set on fire. Students threw rocks, too, sending one policeman to the hospital. After the students failed to disperse, the Guardsmen took their positions to fire.

No one except historians of the period remember any of what led to the massacre because the most salient fact is that uniformed Americans shot dead four unarmed protestors in cold blood. That’s why the Kent State shooting is one of the darkest moments in U.S. history.
The Jan. 6 shooting of an unarmed protestor in the Capitol building also shocks the conscience of the nation. However, legal and political measures, and the media’s false accounts of Jan. 6, have been employed to bury the murder of Ashli Babbitt and shield the identity of the U.S. Capitol Police officer who killed her.

Are we blaming the killing of the officer on Capitol Hill a plot of the DNC, especially after the DNC has blamed the GOP leader Trump for it, while still in office; such finger pointing proves the GOP is running scared already Ma'am and my question is why, if the GOP did nothing wrong.

The American Revolutionaries were considered insurrectionists by the English, French and Spanish Crowns. So I take it as a Badge of Honor to be called into the company of fellow insurrectionists like Washington, Jefferson, La Fayette, Paine, Adams, Greene, Revere, Franklin, Hancock, etc.

Calling the protests on 6 Jan an "INSURRECTION" is a ridiculous exaggeration. This whole sad affair is being used as the flimsiest possible rationale for yet another money and time wasting expedition of pointless hearings on Capital Hill. What Ms. Pelosi, Mr. Schumer and their Democrat-Socialist colleagues are trying to do is to equate any opposition to their Socialist agenda with "extremism" or "domestic terrorism". So, anyone who opposes the Socialist agenda of the far-left Democrats must be a dangerous domestic extremist. This is utterly false. Conservatives are NOT domestic terrorists nor racists. The real danger to American representative government lies in the desperate efforts of the far-left Democrats to smother any effective opposition to their money-wasting welfare give-away legislation. This malign effort is crystalized via the proposed bills S1/H1, the aptly-nicknamed "Corrupt Politicians Protection Act". which would wrongly take away the power of the states to conduct their own elections, and transfer it into the hands of federal-level politicians. Bad idea....
