Lt Col Charlie Brown she didn’t perform to her best during the qualifying. She also had numerous mistakes in Tokyo leading up to the team event. She actually said in a news conference she was suffering from ‘mental health’ issues. It’s sad to see her withdraw from the team competition and there’s questions regarding her competing in individual events. She is 24 and all those years of competition is tough on the body and the mind. I wish her the best

Why do I suspect the writer never participated in sports?

Ridiculous headline. She was injured. She did have pressure on her, but I doubt an athlete of her caliber would break (4 golds, 1 silver, 1 bronze).

SPC Nancy Greene - "Biles left the women’s gymnastics final at the Tokyo Games because she was afraid she would be injured if she continued in a rattled state of mind. It is not clear whether she will compete in her individual events.". Hopefully, she can participate in the individual events.

SGT (Join to see) I have never been a world class athlete and I have no idea of Ms Biles mindset or potential injury. Knowing what she has accomplished in her career, I believe I will give her a pass and wish her well.
