Whatever helps. Wearing something is better than wearing nothing.

While I appreciate the sentiment of what you say, it is my opinion that wearing something for the sake of wearing it, with no standards, is not better than doing nothing at all. I agree to disagree and go on from there.

The one that fits. N95 is better than surgical. Cloth is worthless.

Technically if you’re in a room wearing a cloth mask and everyone else is wearing a cloth mask then it’s not technically useless. However if youre in a room as the only occupant wearing a cloth mask and for arguments sake, everyone else has covid, youre not very well protected. Cloth helps if everyone wears it and wears it well. Otherwise yeah surgical is better, n95 better still, but the 99.98% ones found on the elastomeric type are the best. That’s what I used to intubate 100’s in nyc last year and then in Texas and LA this winter. Still negative.

Think about what has happened last year: CDC put out guidance to wear masks... but didn't provide any standards for the mask. OK, who wants to take advise from this organization. Not me.

COL (Join to see) - I don’t like when they say “data shows” to support taking the public actions they want. We all know portions of data can show anything we want, on any side. An honest evaluation is performed to standard and can/should be used to make public policy actions. There is over a year of data there now that the Administration refuses to properly evaluate. The 64K $ question is: Why?
