Sound financial advice. I still don't get the concept of bitcoins. Seems like gambling to me.

There is a risk to investing bonds if you do not keep them until maturity. When the interest rate gos up the value of the bond goes down. Let us use this vignette. You buy a bound that yields 4% a year for $1000. Then interest rates increase to 8%. You can’t sell it for $1000 because that bond only yields 4%. The price of the bond must be lowered in order to get a the 8% yield. I really don’t want to explain the math. Just trust what I had said. I have Finance and Accounting degrees, but I joined the army because being a bean counter would be a slow death.
