I can understand their perspective. Many progressives don't like centrists, and likewise, many conservatives don't like centrists. However, many pragmatic mainstream voters do like centrists. Ultimately, it's a matter of him managing a political tradeoff (and therefore risk). Move too far to the extreme and you motivate your base, but lose voters in the middle. Move towards the middle and you lose enthusiasm from your base. He found the right mix to get elected, so let's see if he can do the same for the mid-terms and his eventual re-election bid.

A1C Mike Allen - Yeah, but they weren't politically motivated impleachments. The opposition isn't demonized, but certain actions certainly are, and rightly so. I agree, there is a segment of people who are not rational and are in a cult and there is no reconciliation available there because they are not evaluating the world based on what actually happened. The reconciliation is for the rest of us.

SPC Kevin Ford - I think this administration has gone too far... all the issues they have caused has now affected the ranks of the military. Issues we didn't have, are now a "problem," because of political and mainstream media propaganda, along with their never ending brainwashing. Things are hardly going well right now. They're taking a turn for the worse.

SGT (Join to see) - It's hard to know exactly what you mean but I would like to point out that I've heard similar things about the policies of every POTUS in my lifetime. Biden, Trump, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon... If I go back before my lifetime I can find them too, from integrated races, getting into conflicts, not getting into conflicts, letting women in, don't ask don't tell, you name it.

There are always things happening that some people and groups don't like and they are convinced it will ruin the military and is ruining the military culture. It never happened. I don't know exactly what you are concerned about but I'm willing to be based on history the US military will just continue on and still be mission capable and effective.

What tends to actually hurt the military is bad doctrine and equipment. But the cultural and political stuff? Almost never.

This is more about congress and their inability to reach across the isle than Biden. In part explains why congress approval rating is so low. If you or I rated out at 26% we would be fired. However it makes sense as most in congress spend 60% of their time getting reelected and not legislative work. I say lets try term limits so these misfits can actually focus on their jobs. That way they don't need to worry about getting reelected because they can't

Absolutely. Term limits are the way to go. No way should anyone be allowed to make a career out of holding seats in office anymore. They have caused far too much damage, and are never held accountable for it. Benefits should be taken away as well. It should just be seen as a public service, where you can only serve one term and that's it. Plus, I'm absolutely disturbed how those currently in office are millionaires off the tax payer's dime (as an example, Nancy Pelosi is worth $196 million dollars as of 2021), while so many are lucky to ever see that kind of money. Most are just getting by, and there are too many that have nothing. This should be addressed and never allowed to happen again. They take of themselves with a political career, and just mess up the country and people's lives. How this is allowed is mind boggling to me.

SGT (Join to see) - We need to demand term limits and reductions in salary/benefits. Easy way to do it is reelect a different individual each term - we have the means and power to make this happen.

SPC David S. I agree, but too many people aren’t willing to do that, so it’ll be hard to do.
