Agreed….Why do the Democrat Party types have such a hard time seeing our interests with Israel? I’m not talking Biblical stuff, but rather the only democracy in the Middle East, plus a loyal ally to the USA…..

Lt, I believe it's because the democrats seem to have a severe aversion towards anything related to spiritual & religious history (such as Iraq, and especially Israel). And they also seem to have a severe aversion towards being proud of our country - to the point that even showing our own flag is shameful to them...
I believe this horrible U.S. political virus bleeds over into defending our country as well. It's almost as if they have no awareness of the sovereignty of free Nations and our allies, and are only focused on their internal U.S. task-list of outrageous social & societal changes that are unconstitutional & sometimes even against our natural human lives - these completely separate Isis Americans and actually weekend us as a country as a whole...
They do this while willingly & completely ignoring our International defensive responsibilities! 1st Lt Padre Dave Poedel

People tend to neglect history and how we got here. FB pushed the new world order and socialism ideas. Reading a text is considered wrong because of who wrote it. We are doomed eventually at this pace.

Our media institutions (press-broadcast-cable) including social-media are in the toilet. Our Founding Fathers knew how critical and important it was to have a well informed public. It's specifically itemized as key element in the 1st Amendment.

Acutely, for the last 3 to 4 decades we have been victims of what is called Advocacy-Journalism (which violates every ethic that journalism is supposed to practice). The result is the public is not informed; they are opined... and not in a constructive way for a free republic. Chronically, journalism was on it's road to doom since the post Great Depression era (afloat by the then, still-in-existence, Journalistic Ethics... e.g. Walter Cronkite). Anyway, those days are gone... but not necessarily forever. For the time being, we need to be or own researches/journalists. Social media is here to stay but we need to understand what it is: "neighborhood gossip" beware of the lynch-mobs that may develop.
