Indonesia is committing genocide in West Papua New Guinea. Nobody cares. I am disgusted that we give Indonesia military aid. I also read a US Army counterinsurgency paper in regards to defeating the insurgents. The insurgents are people of West Papua New Guinea who are fighting for their freedom against a violent regime. This world is f@cked up. We want democracy to prevail around the world, but we are hypocrites by turning a blind eye. It is sad.

MAJ Ken Landgren this is true to an extent. I think we could have left about 10 years ago if we had not had the policy of "acceptable level of corruption" which of course lead to the IP and IA supplying the insurgency as well as the US funding various groups to fight other various groups.
