Are you implying that racism (tagged) is perpetuated through government policy, in this case via city planning?

It appears you didn't understand the article. The poor are more affected than anybody, and minorities tend to be the largest percentage of the poor. A rose by any other name... Maybe you are just projecting your biased beliefs onto the article. I don't know.

SFC (Join to see) - Maybe you didn't understand the article given you tagged it with "racism" and yet no tags about the economy, economics, or income. You selected the tags, not me. I just found it interesting that a central tenet of Critical Race Theory is that racism is perpetuated through policy more than individual bias. So basically you applied CRT when selecting your tags.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - The tags of Climate Change, Racism, Policy, Administration, and building are the most appropriate for the content of what is actually in the article. I personally believe it’s a wrong use of the work Racism, but that is the word used in the article. I believed it important for people to judge the use of this word in the article. These were the topics most appropriate for tags pertaining to the article. If you feel other tags are more appropriate, you are free to repost the article with tags you wish. :)

In Japan, the Supreme Court ruled that every home has a right to sunshine. Some tall buildings had to be torn down

That is interesting. I know there are vertical property rights in some places here in the US. My only first hand experience with it was in a property acquisition against a landfill when I worked for PennDOT many years ago. They tore off our heads and handed them to us on sticks. I was painful for those of us who advised our District Engineer at the time not to take the course he did.

While I don't subscribe to it there are valid points. It's a plain fact cities are warmer that their suburbs.

SFC (Join to see) - Is this just another way for the government to mandate that local zoning laws are discriminatory and the must provide for government housing in rural areas?
