It's actually just replacing another loan they already have at a lower interest rate for construction already started. We don't really want a toll road in NC, and it will be obsolete before it's completed as are all the roads in the state. I do know that virus money is flooding in and the state and counties don't know how to use it because the projects that are allowed are already paid for. To reimburse taxpayers who actually funded the virus relief packages and actually should get the money isn't an option though. BTW I'm in NC.

Thank you for the local information. From what I see in Pa. money is flooding into transportation construction. I estimate the larger local transportation contractors are working at capacity now. I believe it's mostly from COVID-19 money flowing in. I still have a few contacts in dot, maybe I will have to make a call.
