Unfortunately, according to many of the commentators here, they seem to believe that the Jan 6th rioters are certainly comparable to the terrorists (or suggesting that the Taliban is actually the better of the two). I count three people so far who have flat-out said that Colbert's comparison is true, and there are another two who although they haven't explicitly said it, their comments (here and elsewhere) imply that they agree as well. Yikes!
People in the armed forces, who swore an oath to defend from enemies foreign and domestic, seem to see Republicans as a domestic enemy as bad as or worse than terrorists. That should scare everyone, that they will likely turn on their own fellow Americans as a result of the divisive leftist propaganda/leadership!

Behind the scenes is a place many should never go if they want to continue the illusion. Having done some "behind the scenes" it actually spoiled the original magic. It's all a show and it's all scripted.
