I was reading another article about plinking pistols when I came across this topic. I like this Idea, train with what You carry, .22LR is a lot cheaper than 9mm or .45ACP. Granted the recoil is going to be different, but the mechanics of working the pistol will still be the same. The article mentions new owners getting familiar with their eventual EDC gun.

Interested read and solution! Given the availability of 9mm - practically not, I purchased two (stupid) of those little laser dot cartridges.
Almost worthless, IMHO. No recoil. No bang. Have to rack for each shot.
Does give a laser dot. OK practicing digging underneath your love handles. But you could do that and save $35.:-):-)

Brother Rick we luv our 22's and add them all the time in shooting my friend. The wife's favorite is the Browning. Right front, the SIG P938 has a 22 slide on it we got her a few years back.
