Hmm . . . not sure what to think about that - except that if Robert Kennedy Jr. and Douglas Kennedy, do not object to parole that is a lot of compassion. Presumably he would be monitored. Maybe he has health problems.
I wish the people who need to do so would support parole/pardon for Leonard Peltier - especially because of his health problems. That may be the FBI. Reading about the case, which is extensively written about, there are admissions that Peltier was framed and no evidence to support the claim that he killed an FBI agent. If he is, instead, being held for escaping from custody long ago (and obviously being apprehended), it seems a very long time to hold someone for that reason.

Here in the Paha Sapa (Black Hills) of south Dakota, the name Leonard Peltier is very well known.

I didn't figure he'd ever get out.
Think about it ... this guy was convicted, and has been behind bars since the middle of 1969. Freedom may very well kill him.
