Perhaps all I know about military affairs is wars can be very unpredictable. That plays into the factor that chaos will come in infinite ways because we don’t know who we will fight next.

No matter what, they will still try the 'Human Wave' attack. i.e. be it people, rockets, or whatever. They do not value life as we do. My Dad took out his share when they crossed the Yalu.
