How federal regulation, not climate change, explains California's wildfire crisis: experts

This is a crisis long in the making, and it is primarily the result of mismanagement by Federal and State forestry departments. This has been exacerbated by the aggressive fire suppression over the ages, the spread of urbanization into areas where it should have been restricted, and the lack of proper maintenance of fire barriers around dwellings etc. We were discussing this issue when I was studying forestry over 40 years ago, and it was not a new issue then.

Hey now, it's far easier to scream about global warming than it is to identify empirical realities. And there's no use pointing out reality to a bunch of people who are dead set on wailing about nonsense.
