CPL Adam Schoenwald - The left has it's conspiracy theories as well, which is why you get political plops in discussion threads from both sides. Just mention FOX News and everything gets blurred together in his head because he cannot tell News from Opinion on that channel unless it is labeled. To me it is really clear based on the anchor subtitles but some folks don't pause to read those.

There is is a natural event. The world is headed for declining birth rates because of much higher living standards makes child birth more of an option than necessity. Someone once said that Economic Development is the best prophyillatic and that's partially true. So regardless of any direct intervention by mankind birth rates were to decline to near zero. The other part of this is idealogically this is what is really driving the Democrats to open borders. They see our population declining in the future and they would rather it not translate into declining tax revenues and ability to spend. Right now the only reason the United States population is growing year over year is due to immigration. Current birth rates in the United States by themselves without immigration added in cannot sustain a population growth rate. So putting COVID-19 on the table. Declining world population was underway as a natural event and would have happened anyway.

SrA John Monette - It's actually been taught at most Universities via Sociology subject area. Sorry you missed it. I was taught about it at the University of Wisconsin back in 1989. It really should not be a surprise to you. It is also not a conspiracy theory as it has been long standing scientific belief. The fact it contradicts man made impacts creating Global Warming and theories on the Earth's overpopulation......should tell you something about liberalism and ability to combine social concepts together.

SPC Erich Guenther In all honesty global population control is a conspiracy theory but de-population isn't. A hundred years ago our population on this planet was maybe 1.5 billion a total guess. We didn't start doubling until the 50-60s then 75-95. We have an ever so aging population. Due to medical break through we are living longer. Since we aren't wiping ourselves out mother nature has to do it for us.
