WOW! That's amazingly high! I wish my MOS promoted to E-7 in that high a percentage!

It has nothing to do with our equivalent to your MOS. This is a total of pay grade E-7 (CPO) being promoted. When it comes to Ratings (kind of a MOS), some advance very few, or many based on the needs of the Navy.

MCPO Roger Collins yes. I know. The Army works the same way. I still wish my MOS had that high a promotion rate.

SFC Michael Hasbun I don’t know how the Army feels, but at one point in time, I was locked up at E-5. I changer my specialty from Engine Mechanic to Communications and Electrinics and ended up as E-9 at retirement.
