We seriously need to invest in alternative sources more than we do. As these 3rd world countries continue to grow into modern civilizations, they will need more and more power... It's going to become harder and harder for the world to generate enough power. Solar is a notch better, but it also comes with problems... so does wind and water... but we are getting better and better, someday, someone will unlock the secret we've been waiting for.... don't give up... support the search.

Great share LTC Eugene Chu ...! Exactly, the mainstream media just want to tout China's growth & advances (in Technology & Industry) they have gained over the last couple of decades, but ignore the very problems this growth has caused. They have unsustainable levels of debt, even higher than ours (pending passing of the US 3.5 Trillion Reconciliation bill, notwithstanding) both public and private debt levels have skyrocketed. This China bubble is the largest bubble in world history, in my opinion. China is in a very precarious place too.

I heard about that yesterday. They are mostly a coal generation country and coal is more expensive than they can charge. I've always been skeptical of the folks who scream that China is going to take us over militarily. They are a culture of copiers, not original thinkers. They copy our planes, they buy big ships from other countries, they buy spacecraft plans from Russia. They don't do much original thinking.

We should be more concerned about the financial and commercial hold they have on us. On the positive side, at least that will make them think twice about attacking us militarily. If we go down, so does their economy.
