This is appalling and horrific LTC David Brown! I am disappointed with such a lenient sentence

That's crap but the thing here in Florida is that Judges our high court judges are elected and many counties elect their judges but the when people find out who the judge was in this case he may never see a higher seat. but its still a shame.

Doesn't matter how the judges in Florida are appointed/elected. This was a federal case.

MSG Greg Kelly - We all continue to learn. Federal sentences are often more lenient than we think they should be. Most of the time, the defendant pleads instead of going to trial.

We had a guy we had arrested at work, for stealing over a 18 month period. Photo's documenting him stealing material from work, gave the police the information for them to get the recycle company's logs. Nah, its in another county, not our jurisdiction. We still had enough evidence ourselves to nail him for $5,650.00 we could prove anyway, but the guy sold material 15 times and got well over 10 grand. All I want is him to get a felony on his record, don't care about jail time. What do they offer him at the hearing, plead guilty, and we will reduce it so you don't get a felony. Bastard will just go somewhere else now and keep stealing from people. He has no remorse, yeah, he got a hair cut and dressed up nice, but two days after his initial arrest, he took over a grand worth of material there again. Again, not our jurisdiction, he lives across the county line, we can't get a search warranty. Law enforcement is so lazy and useless anymore.
