Thank you my friend MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. for making us aware that U.S. District Judge John Kness on Friday issued a temporary restraining order against the hospital Thankfully his order temporarily blocked an Illinois hospital system from allegedly putting workers with religious exemptions on unpaid leave. Hopefully his order will be upheld.

The democrat McAuliffe had Obama and Biden come in to lobby for him.

I confess to being of two minds on this. I'm approaching age 72, so I have taken both Moderna vaccinations and the booster shot. My wife and I have been very cautious, wearing three-layer cloth masks and avoiding crowds and the unmasked. I acknowledge that in some respects it's an individual choice. But if we don't get vaccinated and use caution, how do we ever beat this? Ignoring it won't make it go away.

I see some people crowding together absolutely unprotected even when the infection rates go up. And the Supreme Court (Jacobson v. Massachusetts, 1905) has ruled that state governments have the power to forcibly inoculate their citizens when public health is at risk from an epidemic.

So what's the answer? I agree that people with natural immunity are protected and probably should not have to get a vaccination. But those with no antibodies?

Your body, your choice. I worked part-time from February 2020 til February 2021 in a business where we had almost constant contact with our customers, and merchandise went out the front door almost as fast as it came in the back door. None of the staff wore masks, none of the staff got the jab, none of the staff got COVID, and there were no cases of COVID that could be traced back to the shop. I haven't gotten the jab, and I don't wear face-diapers.

Well, good for you, I hope you will do well. I do not wish illness or unhappiness on anyone. I on;y want us to be able to return to a normal life. I understand that Americans don't like someone to tell them what to do. But we have to defeat this disease or our lives will never be the same.
