States like Missouri crack me up. Wife & I got to a nice restaurant and I order a mixed drink.
"I need to see your ID," replied the waitress.
"REALLY?" said I at a then young 70 years of age! Same with buying tobacco in PA ... gotta show that ID.
Vote? NO ID ... nope, not important. SMH

CPL Douglas Chrysler - LOL ... yes, that too. I have a nephew who was introduced to cough syrup when he was 20 or so. He got so hooked on it that it ALMOST destroyed his life. He became a recidivist shoplifter and spent two years in a state prison. Fortunately for him, it was the best thing that happened to him. He married his best friend - the daughter of a police chief no less. Today, he's gainfully employed (HVAC) and very successful. They have two kids, own their own home and he became a roll model for my kids in that he overcame adversity and is a happy, successful family man.
