The Hire Veteran Health Heroes Act of 2021 has officially been signed into law! First introduced by Senators Mike Braun and Maggie Hassan, it directs the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to create a program to help recruit medical personnel, who are within one year of completing military service, to remain in federal health care departments like Veterans Affairs.
