We all have the tendency to tell ourselves stories. We try to figure out a motive, we judge, and those judgments lead to feelings that drive our actions. We sometimes do all of this so quickly that we don’t even realize it, and in doing so we become our own worst enemy.
I deal with this in clients on a regular basis...we all do it. The key is awareness of what the reality is.

I remember resenting some of my supervisors and managers back in the 90's, it wasn't until the late 90's I realized they were making me the good professional I am today. I owe my career to them, and the few times I seen some of them that are still living, I thanks them.
