Canadian truckers getting exemption (within Canada)for avoiding the vaccine. It makes sense since if you did not get all the shots ( or you had a reaction to the first shot since Canada only has Moderna shot not the Johnson and Johnson) and it makes sense you hardly deal with any people aside from dropping off the trailer and hooking up another, why bother getting all of them if people are getting the Omicron variant and they are fully vaccinated? We are short thousands of truckers Nationwide and in Canada anyway.

Article mentions that Canadian truck companies never opposed vaccine mandates. Exemption is due to overall supply chain disruptions and wait time after vaccination vaccinations. It is uncertain if exemption is short or long term

Canada has a vaccine mandate for any Trucking firm that works directly with the Canadian federal government.
