I suspect there will be pardons in the future but not by Trump. Some of the sentences given out are so excessively long for a first time defendant that they can only be viewed as political by an objective President. Obviously the next POTUS will be Republican at this point as the Democrats have no more options left. So we'll see which Republican will grant the pardons.
