With the world as it is today, i find it prudent to carry daily when I wake up to when I retire for the night. All the doors are locked.Better to have and not need then to need and not have.

Same thoughts here. Only difference is when I have the grandkids around. Then I have one on my person ot in the bedside safe. The safe I can open in less than 2 seconds

Thank you for sharing this article, SGT (Join to see)! Crime is not a huge worry in my particular town... Not that it doesn't exist, but not in a rampant way. I keep my gun, loaded, but in my safe... It would probably take me 30 seconds to access iit, so if someone just smashed the door in and entered the time element to secure protection for my wife and myself is probably too long... Should the crime scenario get worse, then were I keep my weapon may change.
