The End Time / Tribulations time of the world:
According to the book of Revelations in the Bible, at least 3/4ths of all people on the planet may possibly die at the largely due to the 3 sets of judgement plagues from God, the Seals, the Trumpets and the Bowls (or Vials).
In the 7 Seals (Revelations 6. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation%206&version=NKJV), the 4th Seal brings in Death and Hades who are given power over >>1/4th <<. of the earth to kill by the sword, famine, plague, and wild beasts. [“Beasts” might also include miscroscopic organisms in the animal kingdom,such as viruses and bacteria which cause diseases. Also, brutish beings of undescribed origin.]
In the 7 Trumpets (Revelations 8-9, https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation+8-9&version=NKJV ), massive amounts of destruction of the environment and natural resources occurs. During the 6th Trumpet (Rev. 9:15), four Angels of the Euphrates are released to kill >> 1/3 << more of the remaining three-fourths of the original population.
**Between the 4th Seal and the 6th Trumpet, it appears that approximately 7/12ths (over 1/2) of the Earth’s total population are wiped out between 3–7 years! **
Finally, in the Bowls of God’s Wrath in Revelation 16. (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelation%2016&version=NKJV ), the 6th Bowl causes the remaining fresh water on the planet to be turned to blood, which will further cull more of the human race. Whosever is left will face the King of Kings who returns on a white horse with the armies of heaven to judge and make war. The tense of the verb translated "has become" is what Greek grammarians refer to as a proleptic aorist .It describes a future event that is so certain that it has already taken place.The perspective of the verb tense looks to a point after the action of the seventh trumpet will run its course .Though this event is future from the point of chronological progress reached in the series,it is so certain that the verb form used views it as an already accomplished fact.[ from a two volume commentary on revelation] I believed the tense is used 2 more times in Revelation,Blessings
