Why would you assume partisanship on a case that was about burglary on a campus?

Don't know how partisanship would have played here, but there is a huge cautionary tale involved. And it is bi-partisan. Our legislators churn out thousands of poorly worded, ambiguously worded, broadly conceptualized, vague laws that overlap existing laws, conflict with existing laws or have unexpected ramifications. The fix is simple. Every piece of legislation passed must include a zipper clause and a sunset clause.
