Low morale, poor logistics, substandard leadership, no clear mission, road bound units and extremely high resistance has lead senior leadership to go to the front and try to do the job of a 1stLt or 1SG. Add to that a smart enemy that knows your operation SOP and actively hunts command positions and anyone that looks important.
