Why would anyone want to live in ANY city? It is beyond me. When you don't have to fence in your dog, because he gets hungry and comes home BEFORE he can make it to the property line, only then do you have enough property.

My daughter moved in with us 5 years ago with my two grand daughters, she has been looking for a place for a year. Every time she sees something, it ends up going for well over asking price, and she is nervous about over paying, and getting stuck with more debt than her home is worth. I live in an area where property values traditionally are much lower than the rest of the country, but even here its gone nuts. Seems to be a great time to sell, most home go in a few weeks for over asking price these days.
