Fort D——- something near the French Mangano line. One of 7 defensive bunkers. Pillbox no. 9, CPT Corson. I learned this in Infantry school 1972. Okay I’ll just read the post. Thanks MAJ Wilson.

Heard of Nordwind before. But never did I get a chance to read about the battle. Knew it was a regular donnybrook slugfest. But shear determination won the day. Excellent share MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.
