I don’t think e 15 gas will help. Can we call this “Blundering along with Biden”. It is pretty clear Mr McGoo has nothing on Biden. Fertilizer is at an all time high and short on supply. Food is at an all time high. So lets take corn and use it to make gas. Oh the gas is less energy efficient so even though it is cheaper you are getting less mpg. I am sure this will increase cost of corn increasing cost of feeding cows and raise food prices

And it isn't good for your engine. And at a time when food prices are going up, we are going to take potential food sources (cattle feed) and put it into our vehicles?

Try to limit or shut down the corn-based ethanol industry in favor of food production and we’ll have to listen to the “corn” states and the cereal producers scream bloody murder when their profits take the big hit.

During WWII Germany found a way to produce its own gasoline since they had insufficient oil resources to conduct warfare in the 20th century. I believe they used coal in that process. Whatever happened to that and why is it not used more today?

That is correct. The problem is that Biden wants to transition from fossil fuels. America has an abundance of oil. Biden made a series of very bad moves. First was to cancel military weapons to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia already disliked Biden from his time with Obama. Obama stabbed Saudi Arabia in the back by backing Iran. So when Biden called them up for help 3 times Biden struck out. Biden, during his campaign, declared war on the oil industry. Biden blocked oil leases on federal land, and tried side line the oil industry. When America needed oil Biden went to Saudi Arabia then Venezuela, the American oil industry was cast as a villain. Now Biden wants oil from Canada, but Biden canceled the pipe line that would bring Canadian oil to the US which tick off Canadians. So Biden single handed screwed up America’s energy supply.

Transitions have to be planned for. Since we don't have the infrastructure to support green energy, any attempts to cut oil production make no sense to me. Solar and wind energy are going to be the thing eventually but not yet. At present I will not give up my car for an electric one. The advantages of an internal combustion engine out weigh electric in terms of range, recharge time and environmental hazards not yet solved in regard to batteries. Once I can drive as far in an EV as I do now and be assured of a quick recharge wherever and whenever I need, I will change
