A very tough position to be in... although I suspect very few approve of the atrocities committed by the Russian troops

The March poll in Latvia about the attitude to the Russian-Ukrainian war was, thus, quite indicative. If 90 percent of all ethnic Latvians expressed support for Ukraine, the opinion of the Russian respondents was divided almost in half: 22 percent of them (mostly young people) also backed Ukraine in the conflict, while 21 percent supported Russia; the rest preferred to remain neutral (LSM, March 10).

Key item from the article was the beginning of the split of the Russian Orthodox Church itself...... really interesting what is a bounce effect from the war.

The question I have on the Donbas region is what is Russia's objective? Kill the Ukrainian Army and pummel civilian population centers or eradicate the Ukrainians free of that region to win through imperialism, military, and owning the region by Russians civilians having boots on the ground? It is obvious they are pursuing the objective of genocide.
