CPT Jack Durish Frankly I'm more worried about America embracing authoritarianism than socialism. I definitely don't agree with Bernie but he has a few good points especially on medical coverage. I have relatives living in some of those European nations and they aren't scared or going bankrupt from medical debt.

Here's another reading assignment for you: Robert Shaffer, "Socialism in the United States: Hidden in Plain Sight" 80 Soc. Ed. 31 (2017). Or, you can look at the platform of the Socialist Party in the 1930s, and then compare it to the New Deal legislation.

So let’s see, Obama wants censorship, Fauci doesn’t think he has to follow laws, Biden thinks laws are something he can “work around” and Biden thinks he can enact gun legislation by the stroke of his pen and meat head thinks Republicans are voting for autocracy? I think this is year two of two weeks to flatten the curve and Biden wants mask mandates back.,
