So he was a full professor, and he held that appointment for four years. Anyone trying to read further into that statement is simply pole-vaulting over mouse turds.

PO1 Robert P. He was a full professor. No debate. The fact that he was on unpaid leave doesn't negate his appointment until; it stands until it is officially terminated. No debate.

Complain all you want, but his comment is factual.

But it's half true - so...saying it's completely false is wrong.

"After his time as vice president, Biden became the Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor, the first to hold such a job. Over the first few years of holding this position, Biden earned more than $900,000 from the university for speaking at various events. According to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer, he “collected $371,159 in 2017 plus $540,484 in 2018 and early 2019 for a vaguely defined role that involved no regular classes and around a dozen public appearances on campus, mostly in big, ticketed events.”

Biden’s professorship did involve him delivering numerous talks and lectures. In 2017, soon after the position was announced, his spokesperson Kate Bedingfield told UPenn’s newspaper The Daily Pennsylvanian that he would not be teaching traditional classes.

Alongside his professorship title, he officially held joint appointments in the Annenberg School for Communication and the School of Arts and Sciences, with a secondary affiliation in the Wharton School.

A February 2019 list compiled by the Daily Pennsylvanian detailed the more public-facing talks and lectures Biden did over roughly two years. During this time, he did deliver one lecture to Wharton Business School graduate students in a highly selective course run by the Lauder Institute that offers a joint International Studies degree with an MBA. This list did not include the work he may have done behind the scenes. "

He was still a professor. His job as a professor, even if an honorary professor, was to give lectures and talks. It wasn't to teach any classes.

SFC (Join to see) - A full professor is an academic rank, and professor jobs entail all sorts of activities. Most professors teach, but not all professors teach. That article, and these complaints, are coming from people who do not work in that academic world and do not have a full understanding of what all a professor is and isn't (and what a professor does and doesn't do).

Not surprised a Biden was hired for a position they were not qualified for - shocker.

Looks a lot like another quid pro quo Biden racket:

David Cohen - raised $700,000 for Biden = Ambassador to Canada
Amy Gutmann - hired Biden paid him $910,000+ for doing nothing - Ambassador to Germany
Zeke Emanuel - COVID Advisory Board - created Obama care - no money just Obama hold over.
Isabella Casillas Guzman - head of the Small Business Administration - Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor during the Obama-Biden Administration so another Obama hold over
Gary Gensler - Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission - Gensler served as the 11th chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, under President Barack Obama - yep another Obama hold over
Rohit Chopra - Chief of the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau - Chopra first joined the CFPB during the Obama Administration so yeah another hold over.

You can call Joe a professor just as Gutmann is an ambassador - just as long as you have a million bucks to make it happen.

Read the full article, Joe is exaggerating or flat out lying. Ignore the liberal BS from our resident left.
