I know our electric grid here in the states can’t handle it if everybody goes electric. But that being said, with his new battery tech coming soon that will out class all the other electric car manufacturers for duration of charge (miles range) and with the war on oil. It may be my best option. I just can’t afford the gas.
My daughter and her husband both have Tesla’s. They installed a charger in my garage here for when they come 400+ miles to visit. They charge up overnight, and they are ready to go. Plus it costs me nothing. My electric company sees it thru my WiFi and credits the energy use. I saw an Elon Musk event where he stated ( as a guarantee ) you will not be charged to charge your Tesla. I didn’t believe it. But apparently in some areas it’s true. My daughter says in Miami it costs them about $20.00 till charge from empty there.
I foil up my little 12 Gallon tank with regular and it costs more than twice that. SFC (Join to see)

MSG Roy Cheever - The cost is hurting everyone. If you can afford (the time) to fill up overnight that may be an answer for you. I would look very hard at the power companies predicting rolling brown/black outs. From the data I've seen, and have been told during a climate change class, depending on the characteristics of the area the electric grid is in, once intermittent energy sources approach 30% to 40% the grid will become unreliable. President Biden and our Democrats are literally forcing their citizens to drink the cool aid.

Go broke paying for gas, of have no electricity to charge with. They are creating a lose-lose situation for our society. What is going to happen when it fails?

Not all energy companies are the same. Where I used to live and where I live now the (both) have built trash to steam plants. The glass metals are separated and all else goes in the incinerator.
No landfills, or off shore dumping.
And with scrubbers in the chimneys that recycle the carbon for re-incineration, the exhaust is cleaner coming out of the chimneys than the air around the Chimneys. Now that is green energy and coal and desire plants have the same carbon scrubbing technologies, but they are not politically correct for the climate change community. Other clean tech is nuclear but that is verboten as well. SFC (Join to see)

Same as Van Drew in New Jersey and Terrence Owens in CA. And possibly soon even Tulsey Gabbert.

Yes, hopefully more and more people will see the light of what is bad in our lives. The key is freedom of speech. I want to hear the vision our Progressive Marxist Democrats have for our Country EVERY DAY! and then let the people decide with their votes.

I left the GOP in 2008, I find myself going to the polls every year, listening to candidates position, and saying to myself, do I vote 3rd party basically throwing my vote away, or hold my nose and vote GOP. If Joe Manchin was in my state, most likely I would, but I have Casey Jr who ran as a pro-life candidate, and many of my friends voted for him based on that. But he would never take that stand publicly and face the wrath of Chuck. He does what he is told. I loved his father who was our governor once, and he ran on his dads reputation, but he is not his father.

"During the Bush Administration I realized there was no difference between Democrats and Republicans" Truth, I was very involved in politics in the 90's. I was the local GOP committee man and worked to endorse candidates. You get behind closed doors, and end up shocked at what people believe, vs what they say. I suspect its the same way with the left currently, they say what the party says to say. But its hard for me to believe the majority of Democrats actually feel good about what their party is doing. So that was why I left the GOP, but man, voting has turned into a hold my nose affair for years. I can't remember the last time I voted for President or Senate and felt good about the vote.

Do yourself a favor. Look at the platforms of the two main parties. Then decide cause for the most part they will follow what their party tells them to.

SPC Steven Depuy - I was a civil servant for over 35 years. From conversations I have had, I can tell you most politicians are dumber than a box of rocks. They will say or do anything to get what they want. It scares me what they are capable of.
