They have wanted to close Parris Island for years as an excuse to fold Marines into the Army. I guess they have finally found a way to close it. Semper Fi!

Respectfully, the Marines are already a Department of the Navy so I don't see why they would want to merge it with the Army. Semper Fi back at ya!
