I wonder if this makes the front page of the Washington Post? No, focus on January 6th and ignore the felonies being committed from the illegal protests in front of Supreme Court Justice residences.
The Biden Budget has a 4% increase to the DOD Defense Budget with a 10% inflation rate.
The Biden Budget also had proposed that 2 Federal Departments get a 15% boost to help 'mitigate climate change'. What a load of BS this administration has its priorities mixed up.
The world is being destabilized by Russia invading Ukraine and threatening NATO allies or those who want protection by NATO, China has built bases in the South China Sea and threatens Taiwan and its neighbors. Taiwan is arming for an eventual invasion by Red China.
All the While, the Biden Administration cuts on Defense. The USAF is now downsizing its A-10 Warthog fleet again and the US Navy may retire 24 ships and only build 9 in its place. The Chinese People Liberation Army Navy continues to build ships at a rapid pace while we review how much to cut to ours.
This administration emboldens enemies to invest in their militaries.
The Biden Administration ruins everything it touches.

I don't work at the Pentagon. Never have, never will. But I would think that any secondary air base in the Pacific would start with the letters USS...
Isn't that kind of the point of an aircraft carrier? A mobile platform to project airpower wherever it is needed?

Yes, China has missles that can damage or destroy those but I thnk its about B-52s and having long range cruise missles. The base can also have THADD anti missle systems as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminal_High_Altitude_Area_Defense
