They've been working towards this for decades, but in typical GOP fashion have absolutely no plan for how to deal with the fallout from the decision....and in most cases could care less.

The Deep South "red" states have consistently refused to expand Medicaid for pregnant and post-partum women and the babies once born, they profess so deeply to care about. The focus on abstinence in sex ed if they even offer sex ed. Most men, and far too many women, have little to no knowledge of the complexity of the female hormonal and reproductive systems. Women are at much higher risk of partner violence and murder during pregnancy and post-partum. No evidence the pro-forced birth groups care to address those issues.

"SALEM Ore. (KPTV) - On the heels of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe V. Wade on Friday, ending 50 years of constitutionally protected abortion rights, Oregon leaders and lawmakers released statements reacting to the news.

“Abortion is health care, and no matter who you are or where you come from, Oregon doesn’t turn away anyone seeking health care. Period,” said Oregon Governor Kate Brown in a statement to FOX 12. “Let me be clear: You cannot ban abortion, you can only ban safe abortions — and this disgraceful Supreme Court decision will undoubtedly put many people’s lives at risk, in addition to stripping away a constitutional right that disproportionately affects women and has been settled law for most of our lifetimes.”...
