Rudy Gatlin missed being there as he had taken a friend to dinner. This was the initial connection. Then around 1984 Larry went to Barry's place in Florida where they wrote Indian Summer together. When singing one of the lines Barry commented, "this would be a great song for Roy Orbison". Larry said, "well let's call him, I've got his number!". And the rest is history - and this amazing video with some of the best voices ever recorded, and a beautifully written song by Barry Gibb and Larry Gatlin. With nearly 6 million views, I think many agree."

An incredible quintet of memorable people and their songs. Barbra Streisand & Barry Gibb, following on, topped it all off for me, or so I thought, for then I went to the Roy Orbison album and was swallowed up by, for me the best male recording artist of all time., as Barbra, is one amazing female artist... A wonderful compilation of music, thanks for sharing Charlie.
