Retention is in the toilet in the US military Reserve component because 20000 in reserve and in 40,000 guard will not get the coronavirus vaccine.

If you are going to force people to take that "vaccine", get the SOB APPROVED, or quit using our military for Guinea pigs.

60,000 is four members is four divisions worth Army Navy and Air Force Reserves and guard Personnel who are no longer Mission capable.

Well said sirs! Those that won't and those who support their decision have "No Sympathy" for the Army's current woes when they were created by the Army. You can't shoot your self in the foot on purpose and complain about the pain you are feeling. Will never understand that mentality. I have several soldiers who are vaccinated walking in solidarity. They don't belong, that's great, they go home=too easy. However, many others are realizing how much they don't belong either. Hope it was worth it.

Every single one of them had already had dozens of vaccines to that point, which lets you know that their objections were political.

That is why they are leaving, the policy put politics above service, so they left/are leaving. Win=Win. "The way we've always done it" is never an argument, just an excuse.

There's nothing political about them. It's a basic operational readiness precaution that has served us well since our inception.

Those mandatory vaccinations to which you speak were tested for 2.5 decades creating a data set before being required. Not all vaccinations are created equal. To ignore the politicization of this vaccine is a negligence at the highest levels. Loosing @ 60k soldiers who are (for sake of argument) healthy isn't a readiness issue? I will stick with my "backwards" assessment if it's all the same to you.
