Whatever Texas does, California will do the opposite. I swear the most liberal and most conservative states both show what this country would look like if either got full control.

Glad I don't live in California. From what I understand, California is losing residents by the thousands for a myriad of reasons, but gun control is certainly one of them.

Indeed ... to rent a U-Haul out of California to Arizona is $1,400 bucks! To rent it from Arizona to California, it's only $400 bucks according to what I heard on the radio yesterday. More people are leaving California, than are going TO California.

Should someone in California be able to sue the state because the cops didn't show up in time to save them from becoming a victim of a violent crime, since California is so hell bent on making sure you don't have the tools to defend yourself?

Unfortunately, the SCOTUS has ruled that the police have no obligation to protect you. "Protect and Serve" has just become another catchy slogan, because the only interests the police will protect is the state's.
