I graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1980. Is this particular John F. Kennedy high school was in La Palma, California. This movie came out in 1982 and I can't believe it's been 40 years! Jeff Spicoli is my man!
I remember a guy in my high school named David Fulkman (same build and blonde hair And sounding very similar to this character) and he was a stoner who used to come in our 5th-period class
stoned off his mind after lunch.
I remember the teacher Mrs. Rosenberg asking him why his eyes were red? He said because he had pink eye LOL. He also was so happy that he graduated because he barely passed by 1 point.

Same story in the late '60's. My 50 yr reunion was two years late, due to COVID.

No, when I went to my 10 year reunioin in 1990 but I did not meet him though he may have been there. The name is too common. He was not my friend. He was not a jerk to me. I still keep in contact with 2 friends from High School. 1 friend came to my promotion to LTC in 2018. He lived in Orange County and my unit was in Garden Grove.
