I agree. There should be no "deliberative process" protections for FOIA. That is the most important part for the public. We can SEE the decisions. We want to know WHY.


But... if there *is* a deliberative process protection, then let's honor it.

LTC Trent Klug - Strange how for four years under the Trump administration, the DOJ never brought any charges of perjury or any other "process crime" against James Comey or Andrew McCabe despite the claims made in the media. Why do you think that is?

Why do you think some are only interested in the court of public opinion but can't be bothered to bring their accusations forward in a court of law?

MSgt Steve Sweeney You're right. Barr didn't charge them. Why? My opinion is no democrat political appointee will ever face prison time for contempt of Congress or lying under oath. Case in point - Eric Holder, James Comey and Andrew McCabe. However if your a republican, you'll be torn apart. LTG Flynn, Roger Stone and Paul Manafort. The last two went to prison based on information found while investigating a fake dossier that federal law enforcement knew was fake, yet they still ran with it.

There is a two tier justice system in this country and it's based on your political leanings.

LTC Trent Klug - Why wouldn't the DOJ under either Sessions or Barr bring forth charges if they had an actual case and evidence in support? Does right-wing incompetence extend to the courts as well? Are republicans simply too incompetent to bring forth a case that will stand up in court regardless of the amount of evidence they have? Is that what you are saying?

Or is it more likely they are feeding you a line in the media? Their actions and failure to follow through with actual charges does not match their rhetoric, yet you continue to believe the rhetoric they are feeding you? Why is that? Do you have a mental issue? Did you sustain a head injury at some point in your career? Do you enjoy playing the fool? At some point you need to ask yourself these questions. At some point you may want to consider that some people are feeding you a line of shit and make the choice to stop swallowing.

Here is a tip for you, Colonel.... consider what they do more than what they say.
