That is a problem with freedom... there are risks. Though in this case the risk is primarily constrained to the risk taker ... and fall out to immediate family. I understand why people want to be concerned about access to gambling, though I don't feel the government has a role here the way they might with firearm safety regulation. Heck, if you want to see the problem with gambling, just show up at your corner store that is selling lottery tickets... You always know when they are doing the "power ball" even if you never purchased a lottery ticket. A tax for people who are poor at math.

I personally have seen Gambling Addiction destroy an otherwise very nice family, I wasn't real close but still felt helpless because I couldn't do anything to help.

"What are the risk factors for gambling addiction?
Concurrent problems associated with an individual’s health, mental health, and general well-being are some of the strongest risk-factors for gambling addiction. Certain factors may increase the risk of gambling addiction, including biological, genetic, and environmental factors."
