Fentanyl is similar to morphine and is usually mixed with other illegal drugs by pharmaceutical companies to make the drug composition cheaper. Doctors use fentanyl to treat severe headaches, yet they too are cautious not to prescribe any more than required for fear of overdose. The death rate due to fentanyl has quadrupled since 1999 making 2001 the year these deaths touched 100k. However, the CDC reports 75k deaths due to fentanyl in 2001 compared to 58k the previous year.

Yes, I read that too SGT (Join to see). I have always hated politicians trying to make last minute noise just to attract votes ahead of elections. Strangely enough, such political personalities get elected and reelected again, and again.
