If hackers can hack your cell phone, pc, bank account, credit cards, etc. etc. etc., why can't they hack autonomous vehicles.
Imagine if you will, China decides to take Taiwan. They expect a strong response from the US. As a pre-emptive strike they simultaneously hack hundreds or thousands of autonomous semi-trucks. Best case, they crash them, and we lose merchandise and trucking assets. Worse case they use them as weapons to wreak havoc on the interstates and city streets.
