The Allies’ Biggest Blunder?

I don't want to sign up for another email. I have too many already so I wasn't able to read your post about the Allies Biggest Blunder. Thanks anyway Dale.

Was it a blunder, or was it the troops the Allies faced were better than in Normandy? Remember, Hitler thought Calais was the Allies target and he reinforced the lowlands. Just asking.

Having said the above, I firmly believe the Allied Soldiers, excluding Soviets troops, were better than their Axis counterparts. I know many folks think the German Soldier was but I have never thought that. There are just too many instances of Allied Soldiers improvising, adapting, and overcoming Axis troops defenses and operations. But I do believe our lowlands operations were failures of logistics and tactics, not manpower.
