On December 7, 2018 my Father passed away, he was a Korean War Veteran who had a passion for Music. At the tender age of 67 (LOL) He decided to go into the studio a produce a gospel album, his 1st and only gospel album. It was released in Europe first with several of his songs hitting the top 10 and the track “God is Still in Business” hitting number 1 for 4 weeks in a row. That same year he was nominated for an award in the European Music awards.
I tell the group this because he had a passion. He played music and sang his whole life because it was what he loved to do. It mattered not what anyone else thought, as long as he brought pleasure to some of the people…..he continued to move forward. He believed in it so he did it.
In remembering him I share his story just to remind folks that you can accomplish things if your persistent and don’t lose faith

The album is on YouTube and in Apple Music and Amazon music if you wanted to download it or particular songs….. I sharing not selling….My mother still collects to royalties ( about $8 to $12.00 a quarter lol) it is not paying any bills but she knows his music is still giving somebody some enjoyment when she gets the payment (and when she is happy….. I’m tickled to death)

Sorry for your loss also. 10 of the songs are originals 8 were written by my Dad. If you don’t like the country twang…. It probably is not for you lol.

SGT Gerald “Jerry” Harrell actually I value a variety of music. I posted two songs by Kevin Kappler tonight & he has that sound as well. He was once my Churches Praise & Worship Pastor a while back & is a personal friend. He went in two different prisons with me two minister to the inmates.
